Tobias Beul is an award-winning filmmaker with a keen focus on editorial and finishing.  His expertise is rooted firmly in film editing and extends well beyond the offline – from color grading and online editing to VFX and motion graphics.

Transcending genre boundaries with almost 15 years of professional experience, his portfolio comprises a wide array of story formats: commercials, trailers, social content, documentaries, feature films and music videos.

His work is a love affair between meticulous nuance and absolutely go-nuts energy. A catalyst for creating distinct visual rhythms and captivating storylines based in a strong understanding of media and its diverse audiences in a growingly distracted world.

His body of work is so diverse that it has been featured in renowned publications like W&V, The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, Süddeutsche Zeitung as well as the Youtube comment section.

Projects he worked on have been screened and awarded at prestigious film and media festivals and venues worldwide such as Berlin Commercial, Spotlight, Ads of the World, Berlinale, Porsche Awards, Cannes Lions, The Cairo International Film Festival and many more.

He received an Emmy nomination for long form documentary editing in a sports film for his work on Red Bull's The Old World: A Mindtrip Through Europe.
