Start!

So I got a blog now. Good times!

I loved writing since I was a teenager. Short stories, poems, random thoughts put into stringent form.

I loved it so much that I would go on to study Literary Studies among other things. Only to ultimately find that for me the truest way to write was in Film Editing.

Because good writing is all about editing. Which is why I attribute the joy I get out of cutting films to my passion for combining words on the page. Parallels.

This preface did originally contain a bunch more paragraphs on the concept of this blog, my motivation behind it and an exposition of what's to come.

But in the spirit of brevity and Showing Not Telling, that got all edited out.

In essence:  it's about filmmaking generally, about editing and post production specifically.
